The basic route of the Border Raid is a challenging ride for even the most experienced riders. To accommodate those who prefer a less challenging ride, and for those who prefer a more challenging ride, several options are available. On day three, riders may choose between a 55, 72, or 100 mile ride. On day four, riders may choose between a 30, 62, or 90 mile ride. On day six, riders may choose between a 51, 69, or 100 mile ride. And on day seven, riders may choose between 60 and 113 mile ride. The 113-mile ride includes some extra provisions (lunch, additional SAGs, museum entry fees, and the Long Riders Century T-shirt) and costs $40.
